house for family potluck, 2018, Saturday November 17, 2018 hide this posting unhide
QR Code Link to This Post Looking for a home in the East Bay that has a large enough kitchen and dining table to seat 14-20 adults and children.
We are natively, a bay area family. (My father, now passed, was a native San Franciscan.) My birthday is November 22nd, and on my 50th birthday, we walked the Golden Gate Bridge and went to a fabulous Italian dinner in San Francisco.
More than a decade later, I'm continuing the tradition of walking the Bridge; yet family members who could host a casual 15-20-person dinner have moved away.
I know it sounds goofy, but I'm looking for a home in the east bay-- Oakland or Berkeley or Richmond hills-- where we can congregate for an evening on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. (actually, every year, if it works out well)
I'd want to coordinate food (a month) in advance; likely having you coordinate and prepare some of the major components; and then have family members bring salads, etc.
Obviously November is no hurry. We've just lost our local home to host something, and I'm hoping to replace that!
