BridgeStreet is seeking a Housekeeper that will service the Washington, DC market and and warehouse based in Herndon, VA. The Housekeeper will contribute to the overall success of BridgeStreet by assuring that every apartment is maintained in accordance with the BridgeStreet quality standards. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining every apartment in BridgeStreet's inventory. This individual is responsible for taking inventory of the apartment and the furnishings as well as notifying the Guest Experience Manager know of any improvements for the apartment. The Housekeeper is also responsible for assisting with apartment set-ups and tear downs and making sure it is inline with BridgeStreet's standard of excellence. This position will also communicate with BridgeStreet staff with notice that an apartment is "Ready" for move -in.
Requirements Experience:
One year experience in commercial or residential cleaning industry, hotels or offices. Previous experience in a customer service related industry where interaction with guests is customary is highly desired. This position requires verbal and written English communication skills. An understanding of basic home electronic equipment is preferred. This position requires the candidate to be able to lift 25-50 lbs, clean driving record, valid state drivers license, and your own form of reliable transportation. The candidate will be highly dependable for schedule shifts and be familiar with best practices for cleaning commercially or residentially. A high school degree or higher is preferred.
