I just had new ladders installed on my 2004 Hummer H2's rear gate, and needed to upgrade the lift gate shocks to compensate for the additional weight. These are in good condition and still have a lot of life left in them, so if your rear gate has lost the ability to repel gravity, then these will work for you.
