Husky male (Baltimore)

He is a 3yr old fixed husky. Bday is Jan. 26.
He would do best with decent yard or fenced area.
I'll be honest to the best of my ability so you know what you're getting into. I rescued him from a family that had him crated and kenneled too often. I was deceived by the ad claiming he was house trained. He is not at all. The family took my money and will not offer a refund for the deception, even after I showed photos of the destruction this guy left in his wake, tearing up the carpet and scratching a door till it splintered.
He is actually a nice dog. Completely non aggressive. Very shy at first but over the past few weeks he's opened up and genuinely started liking his different environment. He got along famously with my existing female dog. He is shy around men and prefers the company of women, children and female dogs. He is large for a husky and a very nice deterrent when on a leash. He will be walked nicely on a leash, but will split at first if you try to trust him off the leash. He is an escape artist with a crate that is not properly secured, and yet you must crate him nightly so he doesn't chew your TV power chord. Or your ps3 controller. Or your work shoes. When he is crated he will sing the song of his people, this wooing noise that actually tugs at your heartstrings. Don't indulge him, but give him a firm "No" and eventually he'll settle down.
I live in a rental that frankly can't handle any more damage, for him busting out of his crate and having his way when I'm not home. If he had his way he'd jump on and sleep in the bed with his favorite female human. NO. He needs an alpha woman that will make him sleep on the floor. The first week was actually great because he chewed nothing when he respected a human as an alpha, but after seeing me leave his side and leaving him home, he's begun to take over. He needs someone who can constantly reinforce his place in the family, that can deal with his stubbornness. I swear he knows when I order him to sit down or lay down, but he rarely obeys commands. Clicker training would be helpful.
If you'd like to meet him, and are prepared to treat him like an overgrown puppy- except that the little "presents" he leaves in the house are way larger- please get in touch.
The rehoming fee is $200. This is to deter flippers, and will help me repair my carpet. A home visit is required. I won't judge your state of living, only that I can see how you plan to lock him up when gone and that you live near some grass or seem like someone that has time to walk him. He has already been through 3 owners before me, me being the fourth, and I will hold onto him if I sense that my care is preferable to that of a suspicious buyer. Apart from the housebreaking problem and destructive chewing, should you be willing to accept the challenge, he has no behavioral issues and can make a fine family.
