Looking for an in-home, after-school care for an 8-year-old girl with high functioning autism. Hours will be approximately 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tuesday and Wednesday are especially needed right now, but will consider applicants who can do Monday through Friday.

Care will consist of helping her with school work, possibly taking her therapy appointments or picking her up from school, assisting with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, preparing food), and providing her with entertainment (video games, movies, games, outings in the community). Additional hours may be needed at times, but will be asked of you in advance (weekends, later some nights, earlier on non-school days).

Must be okay with animals, trustworthy, on-time, and have a good driving record.

Pay is $8.86 per hour. Pay is provided through Medicaid, and PPL is the administrator who will handle the pay (time-sheets, taxes, direct deposit). Must pass a Medicaid required background check (criminal, social).
