Hi, my name is Pam and I would love to care for your child(ren)! I have been caring for children for 5 years now. My daughter and I started this together, and although she works as a teacher's assistant during the school year and nannies during the summer, she continues to help out. I also occasionally work on the weekends for a home health company, which means I have a basic understanding for first aid, while my daughter is CPR/AED and first aid certified.
I am not a certified at home daycare; I prefer to have 3-4 children at a time, so I can provide the one-on-one time many places do not. I do live smoke free. Throughout the day, I try to work with them to prepare for school--topics vary depending on age; we also have educational toys, as well. I also potty train when the time comes. I provide all snacks and meals, all of which are healthy, and we have nap time/quiet time after lunch for about 2 hours.
I have 1 opening (Mon.-Fri.) and take infants to 5 year olds; I recently lost some of my kids to preschool and kindergarten. :( I am located hear highway 30 and PP.
