Inbound Freight Verifier (Boise)

National furniture distributor seeks an independent third party freight verifier.
The work consists of inspecting and verifying the contents of overseas shipping containers.
You will show up onsite at the designated arrival time, and observe the unloading of the container. You will photograph any damaged items with your cell phone, and forward the pictures to our office the same day of the inspection.

Once the unloading process is complete, you will count each carton type, and compare the number of cartons received to the count indicated on the shipping manifest. You will write the results on the shipping manifest and have the customer sign it, and then either fax it, or scan and e mail it to us the same day as the inspection

You are not expected to assist with the physical unloading, other than to count the cartons or items.

Payment is made via direct deposit. You submit an invoice with each completed inspection, each day you do an inspection. Payments are made each Friday for the previous weeks inspections.

You will be required to fill out a w-9 and submit your direct deposit information not less than one week before your first payment will be issued.

Most inspections begin at 9AM ,with a second one at One PM. This work typically takes three hours or less per container.

Container manifests, pictures, and inspection invoices must be submitted the day of the inspection.

We need someone that can be available Monday June 15 through Friday June 20 from 9AM, until they are finished, which we expect to be by Five.

Pay is $125 per two container inspections, with two containers per day.

Please reply with your previous experience in warehouse, retail inventory, military or allied experience

You will be contacted within one day.

You must have reliable transportation to the unloading site, and you must be punctual.
