Job entails installing a kitchen vent kit in a basement where there currently is a ceiling recessed light.
the new fan/light combo is designed to install in such a place where there is an existing light.
There is an existing vent conduit preinstalled to the location. It runs to the building exterior, but does not currently go outside. I thought ahead enough to get the conduit in when finishing the basement, but not enough to get the vent installed before finishing. Such is typical when doing projects in stages as you can afford it...etc.
The job would be to install the light/fan, connect it to the existing duct. then go to another room and cut a hole there and see what needs to be done to get the exhaust to run outside. It may require cutting a hole in the concrete or it may be possible to do it above the foundation wall.
basement is total walkout.
I am looking to get this done in this timeframe.. April 29-may
