Hi, I'm a young jazz guitarist of about 25 looking for some band to play with. I want to play in a band of at least bass and drums, possibly horns too. I practice standards but I'm getting more interested in writing my own tunes. In addition, I want to keep the group and the practice area nearby the Encino area. I'm into bebop and post-bop like Miles, Monk, and Trane but I'm also into free-jazz like the Art Ensemble of Chicago, Peter Brotzmann, and Ken Vandarmark. Email or call me for more information.
