You can let your neighbor come in and feed your dog, but you are not likely to get the experienced and professional care.
If you have a professional come in to your home, it's true that your dog can stay in familiar surroundings, but he is going to be alone all day and night except for the two or maybe 3 times a day that the person comes in.
But, staying in my home, I am with him all the time. I don't work outside the home. I am there if he needs something or just wants attention, and he won't have to spend the long nights all alone. As a professional, I am experienced at giving all forms of medication and I know how to spot the slightest hint of anything being wrong and can deal with any problems. No risk of the dog getting loose or lost here. Regular feeding schedule from clean dishes, the water is changed twice a day, not just when it's empty, and your dog will not be left alone for extended periods of time or left outside. Very reasonable rates. $25 per day. Located in Weare.
