Kira

Kira is a beautiful, super sweet, 50 pound, medium energy plott hound mix. She loves to cuddle and will even sit on your lap if you'll let her! Kira is very people oriented (adults and kids); she definitely is a "people dog". She's very smart and learns quickly. Kira is well-behaved and housetrained. She is about 5-6 years old and past the crazy puppy stage. She just wants to continue to be a loyal companion to her people as she always has been and does not understand why she no longer has a family -- neither do we!

She is an excellent house dog, loves to go for walks and always follows her people around the house. Kira is definitively a "people dog". Kira is cratetrained. She does not have to be told to go to her crate or lock it - she goes to the crate by herself and will sleep a full night (she does snore every now and then). Kira will do best in a home as an only dog. She also will benefit from help learning good leash manners around small dogs. But most of all she wants to feel safe and secure with a family that will cherish her and keep her forever!

Can you give this beautiful girl the second chance she deserves with a home and a family that will adore, pamper and cherish her forever?

The adoption fee for this dog is $275, which covers the cost of routine vet care, as well as spay/neuter surgery. Our adult animal fees range and are based on: fees we pay to shelters, vetting costs, transport costs, and boarding costs.
