My name is Alyssa. I moved to Brooklyn in February and I want to start a band. Mostly because I want to write songs, but also to give my vocals a fair shot. I guess I'd say I have a Zooey Deschanel/Of Monsters and Men style voice, but I can mix it up. I'm thinking The Pretty Reckless meets Shakey Graves ft. Esme could be a cool sound to aim for. Rough and rocky at times, but mostly gentle and folky. Americana.
