I have the following openings:
* 2 Tues/Thurs spots, age 18 mos+, starting now.
* 2 FT spots, age 2+, starting this summer (May).
Little Engine Home Daycare offers:
* Full preschool curriculum, which includes song and dance, arts and crafts, ABCs, 123s, and letter formation -- all focused on our weekly theme.
* A scheduled day with time for free play and social skills learning,
* A licensed and safe home with a loving, experienced provider (Licensed since 2005. Lic# 1535488).
* A great play space: Large, finished walk-out basement features center-based play area (centers include dress-up area, fine motor table, building, transportation, kitchen/dramatic play, reading, and craft area).
* Outside area is fully gated and locked, with appropriate climbing equipment and ride-ons.
Our typical day consists of:
* Healthy meals: breakfast, lunch & snack served daily with organic milk.
* Daily circle time with books and singing.
* Arts and crafts with lots of fine motor skills development.
* ABCs and 123s integrated into daily play and circle time.
* Once a week, we either do the Music Man (lessons teach rhythm and offer exposure to musical instruments and song), or Yoga Lady.
I love what I do. I have a great group of kids, currently age 1-5 years old. I send email updates to parents daily, and send photos often. I consider excellent communication to be a must in this job.
