The show is a podcast called called Unknown Words with Matthew Anderson, and I am Matthew Anderson. The show is dedicated to finding good work from entirely unpublished or lesser known writers. The format of every episode consists of myself reading a full story by the featured writer, then a 20 to 30 minute conversation we had. I lean towards fiction, but I have featured non-fiction pieces and plan on featuring poetry as well, so feel free to submit either. The show is available on iTunes and SoundCloud.

I'm looking for mostly literary stories, no shorter than 1,000 words and no longer than 4,000.

This is unpaid. If I decide to use your story, I will heavily promote it, any of your other work, and your website and twitter, etc. during the time of your episode.

I'm asking for one time, non-exclusive use of your story, meaning the full rights of the story remain in your hands and you can submit it anywhere else you'd like. However, if you have already submitted a story to a publication, and you want to submit to my show, you may want to check with the first publication and make sure your story appearing on my show won't invalidate your prior submission.
