This little girl had a rough start in life. She lived in a bad part of the city and was kicked out of her home at a young age. She had to fend for herself on the streets and scrounge for food amongst many other homeless and unwanted kitties. We are striving to get cats like Charlotte off of the streets, and into loving homes. Despite all she's been through, Charlotte is an absolute sweetheart. She truly loves human companionship. She is a little shy, but has really come out of her shell. She cuddles up at your feet in bed, and comes up to greet you at the head of the bed each morning. She follows you around the house and likes to sit next to you or on your lap when you are sitting on the couch. She enjoys her food (probably even more so because she was deprived of it for so long on the streets), and has become a little plump :) She would probably enjoy having another kitty friend or two, as she still has a lot of kitten playfulness in her (although her overall demeanor is laid-back). She would be safe with children, and has gotten very used to being around a very active toddler. She has not been tested with dogs. She is recently spayed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, which are two bad illnesses that cats can get.
