I'm from Mexico City, Mexico and living with a family in Chicago but it is not working out. They had 4 children under the age of 6 and it was more than I felt I could handle. My host parents would give good recommendation on my childcare.
My past childcare experience includes:
- Transporting 25 children from their home to their school every day. The ages of the children were form 4 -- 12 yrs. old
- Assisted with children's parties and playground for children ages 1 -- 11 years old.
- Nursing assistant for children who had health problems and I would follow up to make sure they were continuing to feel better. This was with children ages 2 -- 14 years old. I work for pediatrickids.com The USA also has the same organization. I have a first aid certification.
My childcare references, including my current host family will tell you that I'm very good with kids. I like playing games with them, telling them about history and reading stories. They also say that I'm very patient, dynamic and creative. My personality is more laid back, calm and patient.
I do love to cook and would be happy to do so for your family! I also have my international driver's license and owned my own car in Brazil, so driving is something I'm comfortable doing.
