Experienced drummer, bass player and guitarist looking to form New Orleans' penultimate blues band. We don't want to play at a party, we want to bring the party. We don't want to play at a bar, we want to set the bar for all other New Orleans blues bands.

We don't want just a singer, we want someone that bleeds the blues. Because the blues are all about passion and pain, we want someone with a voice that can bring our audience to the mountain top, then bring them to their knees. Because the blues are all about the ups and downs, we want someone that can roar one minute and then whisper the next. Because the blues are all about life, we want someone that can weave a tale and command the room.

Ideally you would play an instrument (harp or lead guitar are preferred) but it's not necessary. We plan on playing dressed to the 9's and adding a keyboard player and a horn section that oozes cool from every pore. Since we will be a 7 or 8 piece band we won't be cheap, and since we won't be cheap we probably won't play every weekend (probably 2 to 4 times a month) Our repertoire will include uptempo blues and swing blues, some rock classics reworked for the blues, and some slow burn stuff that would make your mom grind on your dad. Maybe even an original or two.
