I'm looking to give a home to very young, baby kitten for my pitbull Atlas to bond with. Now I know that sounds a little strange to some but Atlas was hand-raised since he was 8 weeks old around a female Russian Blue cat I already had named Lily whom he instantly bonded with. Strange enough, Lily HATED other animals but bonded with him as well! Sadly Lily slipped out the door one day when I was bringing groceries in and I was never able to find her. Atlas has been really depressed lately and with me picking up a second job he's beginning to act out(marking things in my room 5 mins after I leave, pulling blankets off the couch, etc) and after consulting with an obedience expert I was told I should get another very young kitten, preferably a female, for him to bond with him and have as a companion again. Also Atlas has fathered a litter of puppies he resided over and was an excellent father. His favorite playmate is a chihuahua/austrailian shepherd mix that's tiny and he's never once gotten too rough playing with him. He is very well trained and understands his size difference when playing with a puppy, kitten or smaller animal.
