We're looking for a puppy (something under a year old). The family consists of myself, my wife, our two young daughters, and our older yellow lab. We want to add one more.
We're not really interested in a rehoming fee as we view this as an opportunity to help out someone who needs to place a dog that doesn't fit. If you think that's draconian, think of it from an economics standpoint, since August 7th, there have been more than one page worths of Craigslist posts looking to "re-home." Is there really that much demand to take older pets? Also, don't get me started on Akerlof's market for lemons. We're happy to pay you for some, or all, of your pet supplies. But, what you paid for "Fluffy" is irrelevant.
We're a loving, caring family and would do very well with your unwanted pet. He or she would have a great life. Let me.
