I run a small jewelry making business here in VT and I am looking to bring on 1-2 people to help me stock up some bead inventory in the coming weeks.
All of the work can either be done in my studio, or in your own personal workshop providing you have the necessary tools.
What is required if you have your own shop, at minimum a way to sand/polish very small square pieces of wood, mostly hardwoods. You will need to be able to go from roughly a 100 grit for shaping, all the way up to a 1500 grit depending on the wood. I have refined the method and can train you very quickly.
Ideally you will also have a bandsaw, or a saw capable of safely making very small blanks, and a drill press in order to bore 2-3mm holes depending on the beads.
I am willing to pay quite well for these, and I will pay per bead for smaller runs, for larger I will pay a lump sum.
All wood will be provided by me, currently I am looking for 60-100 of specific pieces in varying sizes.
This is a wonderful opportunity to make some very very easy money, for the right person that is.
Shoot me an email if this sounds at all of interest, please don't bother if jewelry making/working with wood is not something that interests.
