Jade, a VERY friendly female Alexandrine (Ringneck) parrot, who got loose last night, 5/15. I walked outside, thinking I had my flightless bird on my shoulder, but it was Jade, who was frightened by the salesman who rang my doorbell, and took flight. Jade is extremely people friendly. She would probably fly to your shoulder. If she is perched, she will step up on your finger if you ask her to "Step Up!" PLEASE, please, please contact me if you have found Jade or you just want to tell me you have spotted her. She has a very distinct call....first, a high-pitched sound, followed by a whistle that resembles a 'wolf whistle.' My thanks to everyone who will keep their eyes and ears open for my precious Jade.
