Nancy is the poster child for the amazing resilience dogs have. Prior to her rescue, it's obvious she was mistreated. She came to us from a shelter with a partial cruciate tear causing her to limp intermittently and a broken rib (likely from a kick). None of this has changed her affection towards people. Nancy is as loving and trusting as an innocent baby. She is not friendly to cats. With the proper guidance from a strong leader, Nancy does well with calm dogs her own size with slow and proper introductions. Our volunteers will assist Nancy's adopters with this. Nancy is both house and crate trained, though she would prefer a family who let her sleep with them. Nancy walks well on leash. She deserves a loving forever home.
