. There is no farm-operated training or riding program. Boarders are free to take lessons from their own instructors, contract their own hay and grain, and hire their own veterinarians and farriers. The daily care, stall cleaning, feeding and turnout of the horses are the responsibility of the owner, but many owners form feeding and work cooperatives with other boarders to produce workable schedules. This creates an economic alternative to the expense of full-care stables.
There is a full-time farm manager on the premises who is responsible for field and stall assignments, maintenance of the fields and facilities. Annual vaccinations, Coggins tests and bi-monthly wormings are required for each horse and are the responsibility of the horse owners. For additional information or to arrange a visit, please call
What's been a mostly mild winter so far is finally baring its teeth this week, with ferocious winds and plunging temperatures. The National Weather Service is forecasting that an intense Arctic cold front will arrive today, bringing bitter cold temperatures and wind gusts of 25 to 35 miles per hour. "As the temperature continues to plummet, wind chills are expected to reach 15 to 30 degrees below zero in some areas," says Steve Morash, director of BU Emergency Response Planning. "This cold outbreak will be different," warns Alyson Hoegg, a meteorologist for AccuWeather.com. "Unlike previous cold outbreaks, this round of cold weather will be long lasting, likely spanning the entire week." Despite some sunshine, Thursday will probably be the coldest day this week, with temperatures in the Boston area expected to be in the single digits or lower. Strong winds will make it feel even colder. posted: 2015-01-27 12:17pm email to friend ♥ best of [?] KEYWORDS: * heating * boilers * emergency * oil * oil burner * service * maintenance * cleaning * coil * hvac * boiler start up * burner start up * no hot water * no heat * boiler cleaning * boiler light up * carpet * hot water * hot water tank * steam * gas * circulator * thermostat * oil line * oil tank * indirect tank * domestic hot water * mixing valve * repair * replacement * beckett * carlin * riello * peerless * weil mclain * burnham * slantfin * williamson * utica * new yorker * replacement * new boiler * suffolk * nassau * queens * thermocouple * gas * gas service * gas tank * pilot * gas pilot * troubleshoot * burner problem * burner repair * boiler problem * boiler repair * burner service * burner service * brooklyn * a-o smith * soot * puffback * smoke * smell * oil smell * emergency service * emergency repair * Honeywell * Redlink * Granby * Roth * tune up * Boiler cleaning * Burner cleaning * preventative maintenance * Lux * Lux Pro* thermostat * burner * oil heat * violation * violations removed * white Rodgers * zone * circulator * pump * tempering valve * heating problem * no heat * no hot water * forced air * warm air * blower *furnace ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A professional Guitarist in the greater New York City area, Tucker has been involved in music since he was 11 years old when he started playing guitar.
