Male Rat Terrier for Adoption (Fuzzy Pawz Rescue)

Meet Peanut a 9 year old Rat Terrier who sadly found himself in a shelter. When no one claimed him Fuzzy Pawz sprung him and placed him in a foster home where he has blossomed.
This is one amazing boy; Peanut is super smart and eager to please. He knows all of his basic commands, is house trained (not one accident in his foster home) and he is good on leash. Though a new family must be prepared for energy! if they adopt this boy; Peanut LOVES to run both in the yard and when you take him out on leash. He is also kennel trained though he doesn't need one he has great house manners.
Peanut is good with kids, cats and kittens; he is fine with small dogs his own size; but big dogs overwhelm him and he gets snappy. Peanut can also get overwhelmed around a lot of other dogs at once. He'd do best in a home with cats, 1 other dog or by himself.
He does barks a little at noises outside, but quiets down when you tell him to. Loves to explore the back yard, definitely needs a fenced yard as he also loves to be outside and sleep in the sun.

Peanut is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He also recently had a dental (with a few teeth pulled) and the vet found a slight heart murmur which is not bothering him at all.
