Luv Bomb is a 60's(ish) soul based band doing traditional Stax/Volt and Atlantic Records style music. We are a little bit Blues Brothers, a little bit Commitments, and a lot of energy! We try to expose the crowd to some songs that are off the beaten path, but do play some favorites as well (don't worry...no Mustang Sally). We are currently a eight(ish)-piece band with horns, backup vocals and we specialize in filling dance floors.

We currently have a great female singer on board and are looking to add a male singer who is just as good. We are looking for a singer who can deliver an impassioned performance while singing lead, and also fill in on backup vocals when the other singer is doing her songs. We are looking for a singer who wants to be a part of a band, not just a hired gun. We fully expect good money coming in the near future but as of right now there is very little pay. At this point we are gigging 1-2 times a month and we rehearse Monday evenings near the Balboa BART station. Give me a call, text or email if this sounds interesting to you.!
