ManagerHandyman needed for Mobile Home Community (Petersburg)
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Property Manager/Handyman for a family friendly Mobile Home Community in Petersburg, VA.
This live-in manager would possess a strong WORK ETHIC & INTEGRITY, as well as company loyalty and a positive attitude. This position offers a manager's residence, home sales/leasing bonuses, and a yearly salary of $24,000.
REQUIREMENTS:
Work hours are full-time, but are flexible (approx 30-40 hours per week).
** We're ok if you have a existing part-time job as long as it doesn't interfere with your time at the park
Individuals must possess an attitude of self-motivation.
Candidates must pass a background to be considered (anyone with prior evictions or criminal charges will not be considered)
You are required to live in the community. We will not consider you if you are not wiling to relocate and live within the park.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have handyman and maintenance skills and be able to repair and renovate units when they become available.
Computer skills required (Microsoft office and basic internet experience)
Prior Property Management experience a plus, but not required.
Ability to effectively communicate with residents, vendors, employees and supervisors
Bi-lingual a plus, but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
Monthly Rent Collection
Renovation of units that come available
Assist with marketing efforts (signs, flyers, craigslist ads, etc)
Serving late notices
Monthly reading of water meters
Filing evictions
Grounds keeping and mowing
Home sales and leasing
Prepare Monthly reports
Maintain organized resident files
Enforce community rules/regulations and follow all applicable safety procedures
