Ok, the pay isn't fantastic, but the good you will do will make up for that! I need a mariachi-style band for one daytime gig, about an hour, the week following Mother's Day, in Scarborough, Maine. I think probably that Friday, but I'll know for sure this week. This is in a nursing home/assisted living facility, and would be a real highlight for the residents along with the themes of Fiesta, Culture, Family, Compassion, Life and Love. You can't imagine how your performance might make a difference in the lives of our elderly friends. Our place, and others, regularly book entertainment. It may not pay a lot, but it could be a regular gig. We will discuss specifics if you contact me. !
