Hey all, I am Modest. I am looking to start a hip hop collective or rather group. I am inspired by all hip hop so I don't like to put myself into any sort of specific genre or category. I like to write meaningful lyrics or inspiring lyrics. When it comes to beats I'm all about that New York City and LA sound. I love old school sound, as well as new. I'm looking for two to three more guys, or girls who wanna start a serious group recording albums and doing shows. I've been looking for the past few years for someone to make beats and DJ and I just can't find the right person, really hoping this posting will help with that. And also been looking for some time for other MC's to start a group with. I am aware it is hard these days to get people all in one room but I would love to do this at least once a week for rehearsal/writing/practice purposes. I'm just looking for MC's who are trying to inspire something in themselves or others. I feel like mainstream hip hop and rap has become so saturated and save for a few like, Joey Badass, Kendrick, J Cole, Mac Miller I don't feel that most MC's are pushing the mold or thinking outside the box.
