I am a female seeking a mechanic who can work on my car about once a month or so.
I am looking for someone very local to the Nashua/Milford/Lowell area who is organized, reliable, efficient, diligent and detail oriented.
I am preferably seeking someone who has experience with Subaru's as my vehicle is a 2004 Subaru Outback Legacy with over 250,000 miles on it. It is in good shape but needs a lot of TLC in the coming winter months.
I am preferably looking for someone professional who has a garage and their own tools, but if you are a non-professional that's fine too since what I am offering is an exchange of services.
I am able to pay cash somewhat, but hoping to find someone who wouldn't mind bartering in exchange for massage and/or private yoga lessons and/or housecleaning/pet care/child care etc. Since I don't have a lot of money (aside from covering the expenses of parts) a situation with a mechanic willing to barter at the very least partially would be ideal.
The Subaru doesn't need too much work aside from basic maintenance, a few tweaks here and there, some diagnostics, and the occasional fluids.
If you have the means to help, please send along some basic info about yourself, where you live/work, whether or not you have a garage or facility to work out of and whether or not you have the tools/parts necessary to do many types of jobs. Please also include your experience working with Subaru's and any recommendations you may have for a car with higher.
