Bambi arrived at Dogma Animal Rescue in November of 2014. She was a skinny, frail, tiny little dog that obviously had some medical issues going on. A detailed exam discovered that she had a broken jaw, most likely from being kicked in the face. Over the past five months we have treated her broken jaw, removed some abscessed morals, and given her teeth a deep cleaning. Getting Bambi's teeth fixed was challenging. The abscesses couldn't be pulled because of the fracture, so each one had to be manually drilled out. Bambi is now a happy, healthy, little dog and it's now time to find her a home of her very own.
Bambi is a fawn colored Chi, is approximately 3-4 years old, and weighs around 8 pounds. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and is happy to be around people. She is a bit afraid of loud children so we are looking for a home without kids for this girl. Bambi's idea of heaven is a warm lap. She sleeps in a kennel at night and is house trained. She does well entertaining herself in the back yard and will let you know when she want to come back in. Bambi is a mellow girl and is happy to curl up in her bed and snooze the day away. She will be very well in a low activity home where she can be a companion dog.
She is altered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, current on vaccinations, wormed, and treated for fleas and ticks. She will be available to meet May 31st from 11-3pm at Village Pets, located at 1425 Fulton Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, and by private appointment,
