Meet Clara, an adoptable 8 month old female Deer Chihuahua x (santa rosa)

Sweet Clara was born in our care during the summer of 2014 and was recently returned by her adopters. She is a very small, deer headed Chihuahua x that is a natural lap dog or companion animal.
Clara is approximately 8 months old and weighs around 5 pounds. She has an average energy level, loves to sleep on her favorite pillow, and gets along with other dogs and cats. She is a bit shy with other dogs, but still wants to run and play with them. She has to be enticed by the other dogs before she feels comfortable joining the fun. One of her most endearing traits is that she will kick out her back legs and hop in a circle to attract the other dogs. This tiny dog has buckets of personality!
Clara would do well with respectful children over 12. She has good manners and sleeps in a crate at night. Unfortunately her prior family did not finish her house training, so she will need reinforcement in that area.
Clara is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and ticks, and current with heartworm preventative. She will be available to meet May 31st from 11-3pm at Village Pets, located at 1425 Fulton Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, and by private appointment,
