Meet Coconut, an adoptable deaf 12 week old female DachshundBeagle x (santa rosa)

Coconut is one of our two special girls. We recently confirmed our suspicions that she and her sister, Cashew, are both deaf. Apparently 70% of white dogs with blue eyes are deaf...who knew?
Just because these girls can't hear doesn't mean they will not lead full, active lives. Deaf dogs just need special training based on hand signals. They would do best with another dog, and a home without small children.
Coconut, Cashew, Chestnut, Peanut, Butter, and Jelly, were rescued from a hoarding situation and have spent the last few weeks becoming healthy little puppies. We believe these little ones are crossed with Dachshund/Terrier and perhaps a little Beagle. All the pups are social, affectionate, and have been raised with children and other dogs. They are cute little critters that will probably be around 20-25 pounds full size.
Coconut is the white puppy with brown ears.

The puppies are altered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, wormed, and treated for fleas and ticks. She will be available to meet May 31st from 11-3pm at Village Pets, located at 1425 Fulton Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, and by private appointment,
