Lucy arrived at Dogma Animal Rescue with eight small puppies. She did a great job of raising her puppies and now it's time to find her the perfect home. Lucy is a Vizsla cross, is approximately 2 years old, and weighs around 45 pounds. She is an active dog, loves taking walks, is good on leash, and plays well with our other dogs. She will need a home with a secure fence because the Vizsla breed is known to be good jumpers and agility dogs.
One of Lucy's favorite things is being near her people. She loves sitting on laps or cuddling up next to her family on the couch. Kisses and belly rubs are also high on her list. Lucy can be a little high strung when she gets excited, but when you hold her and give her a few rubs and kisses she calms right down. Lucy sleeps in a crate or on a dog bed in the living room at night. She did sleep in bed one night as a test and did fine. She is also house trained. This girl was someone's pet and somehow ended up in a shelter. She will be a wonderful pet for some lucky family. Her ideal home will be active and have a secured back yard.
Lucy is spayed, microchipped, Heartworm tested, current on vaccinations, wormed, and treated for fleas and ticks. She will be available to meet May 31st from 11-3pm at Village Pets, located at 1425 Fulton Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, and by private appointment,
