hello c - list ... i came across this tech patrick from brooklyn . found him on here it took me awhile to actually get for him to look at my car we were both busy i all most gave up.. would have been a mistake.. lets start i own a 2008 s 63 amg , i had a few small issues window , seat panels etc small stuff..
my main issue was the air conditioner was inoperable ( don't wanna mention any names ) shops , " techs " "specialist's" dealers , stealers .. etc .. he told me after some minor function test's and a diagnostic with the ( star diagnostic ) i would need to leave the car after 3 or so days he calls me has me come down to show me what he found BEFORE I FORGET t of asked me 1000 question's about the history what was done in the pass etc .. to be honest i was not sure about this guy after all the questions BIG MISTAKE about 6 months prior i had my motor mounts replaced , they were worn out , thats one of the things i told him . SO i come down the electrical PLUG that plugs into the $1250 compressor the PIN was loose making a intermit connection . he replaced the pin and my a/c was fixed . BTW I WAS TOLD BY TWO OUT OF THE THREE PEOPLE I WENT TO TOLD ME THE COMPRESSOR WAS BAD that would of been $1700 parts / labor . the others i dont even remember the BS tried to sell me . i payed $150 for the diagnostic $25 for the pin and plug repair . he said once you told me you had the motor mounts replaced i knew the problem . he explained how when the mounts go bad the motor lifts up and pulls on everything causing a poor connection over time .. im sold on him i owned many cars i'm 65 years young and this 30 something year old guy impressed me by the questions , honestly , and knowledge ..
