I have 2 metal projects I'm working on and need a talented metal vocalist to contribute vocally to one or both of these projects.
To be clear this is an online collaboration only. I live in Boston so unless you live local to me you will need to be able to record your vocals and send them to me through email. This means you need a decent mic, a pop filter and most importantly a DAW which you know how to use. Recording your vocals through your phone just won't be sufficient. So if you don't have experience singing and recording yourself this won't work.
Recording capabilities are also a must so that you can send me vocal files which can be edited, EQ'd, mixed, and mastered by me. I would just need individual vocals WAVS emailed to me. Ideally I would like to hear some stuff you have recorded previously so in your email please attach or link up to your best stuff as to not waste each others time.
The first project can be described as melodic death metal/metalcore/rock. Strong hooks are needed as the choruses are written that way. There will be primarily heavy guitars but in some songs acoustic guitar, piano, strings, etc. This project draws influences from bands like Killswitch, Times of Grace, A Perfect Circle, Cipher System, August Burns Red, Machinehead, Pantera.
This project requires an experienced vocalist with strong singing capabilities as well as ferocious screaming ability. Singing is the primary necessity here so if you are only a screamer scroll down to my second project. Liberties are welcome lyrically but nothing unnecessarily negative.

The second project can be described as metal with elements of hardcore, thrash, and groove oriented metal. These songs will have no shortage of fast double bass, evil note choices, breakdowns, pinch harmonics, guitar solos, etc
I envision a strong screaming vocalist with a good baseline scream that can tastefully mix in lows and gutterals as needed. Actual singing is not a necessity for this project but if you have evil style cleans that works too. Not looking for a power metal vocalist. Just not my thing. In terms of lyrics I'm looking for someone to take the creative control of that. Despite the name of the band I chose I'm not looking for this band to be based on anti-god stuff. I'm not opposed to lyrical content being based on politics, the negatives of religion and so forth but nothing overly negative for the sake of being negative.
