Assets and Tools Needed
* Two mobile sound systems
* Wireless lapel microphones
* Wireless handheld microphones
* Dance lighting
* Related equipment to deliver high-quality audio to small to medium size crowds (20-350 people)
* Backup equipment in case of failure of components to deliver service
* Ability to purchase music tracks that the customer wants to be played at their event
* Have your own vehicle to haul gear to events
* Ability to set up your own equipment well in advance of the event start time
* Ability to tear down and load your equipment back up after event is over
* Cell phone for communication
* Dress for success! For wedding and corporate events, you must be willing to wear a shirt and tie for many formal and semi-formal events
* Printer to print off online planning forms and playlist created at our web site

Optional Skills but a Plus (VJ)
* Experience in providing video services
* Video equipment including monitors, projectors, and related cabling
* Periodically make custom videos, slideshows, and visual presentations for clients

* Ability to command a room with your voice and be a strong MC (Master of Ceremonies)

* Responsive to phone calls, voice mails, and emails in a timely manner

Roles and Responsibilities
* Able to meet with prospective clients and help them discover if you are the right fit for their event. This will also help you to discover the client's needs and expectations and address questions they may have. This is an investment in your time. Not all clients book.
* Able to meet with booked clients to review the details of their event and confirm their agenda, announcements, music selections and equipment needed to provide service prior to the event date. Not all clients and events require this meeting.
* Provide a high-quality service that meets or exceeds clients expectations

Compensation and Working Conditions
* Compensation is a percentage of the job. DOE.
* Work opportunities are mostly night and weekends.
* Most events are held in the Treasure Valley but some events may require travel to McCall, Sun Valley, Cascade, and Eastern Oregon. Compensation for additional travel is negotiated.
* Not required to accept every opportunity to be considered for future opportunities.
* As an independent contractor, you will receive a 1099 form.
