A few days ago my mother informed me that she wants me to move by the end of next week (June 18, 2015 when the school year is over for my kids) simply because she only wants it to be her and my dad in her house for the summer.

I have been staying with my parents for a few months trying to save up money to move from Baltimore to New Jersey. At one point I did have enough money to move but I had some set backs and basically ended up back at square one again and I haven't been able to fully recover.

At this point, I just need to get a place of residence for my kids and I ASAP. It doesn't need to be in New Jersey (although I do make more money there than I do in Baltimore) and certainly does not need to be fancy (if we have to squeeze into a one bedroom, so be it). But we cannot be subject to uncertainty of whether or not we're going to have shelter depending on someone else's mood.

I've looked at and called around to a few places both in Baltimore and different parts of Jersey and have run into similar rent prices. I suppose which ever is ready and available for move in first is where I'm going.

Although, I do earn enough to pay rent and such, saving enough money for initial moving costs (after my financial set back) has proven to be quite difficult.

I'm starting this campaign hoping to gather a portion of the funds I will need to put toward a security deposit, first months rent, and/or actually moving my belongings (a uhaul or something similar), or just whatever I can cover depending on how much I can cover myself and how much the good people of the internet contribute.

If I reach my goal, I will have all of those costs covered and will be able to pay the next month's rent two weeks or so after moving and be a little ahead.... That way I shouldn't get into any situations similar to this again. If I'm only able to gather portion it will DEFINITELY help with what I've been struggling with for the past several weeks.
