We are looking for part-time nanny. Looking to start in August with some weekday shifts for training (we can be very flexible with scheduling as we currently have weekdays covered so we could work around availability). Our daughter goes back to school the end of August so the position would be mainly weekend shifts. Shifts on weekends are typically 5 hour shifts (e.g., 10AM to 3PM or 3PM to 8PM). We would expect 2 weekends per month. Someone with experience in working with special needs clients would be preferable but at a minimum child care experience is needed. Our daughter is 7 years old. She has cognitive delays due to a medical condition. She's sweet and loves people. She's very busy and needs someone to keep a close eye on her. There is little down time. We recommend whoever applies like to be active, spend time outside, go to the pool, jump on the trampoline, etc... We have a vehicle for the nanny to use to take her to events in the community. We want to find a patient, easy going person who becomes part of our family. We are not looking for short-term. The pay is $16-$18 per hour depending on experience. We would like to interview soon. A background check would be completed which can take 3-4.
