Looking for a roommate who would like to take over the bedroom in my one bedroom place in North Portland.
I work six days a week, long hours every day, between my job as a cook in a Mexican restaurant and my job as a prep cook in a deli, so I am very rarely home for more than three or four hours a night.
I DO smoke but NEVER inside, on my rare day off I like to kick back and watch Netflix on my big screen, or hit the Pope House in Northwest to do a bourbon tasting, or just wander the distilleries in Inner Southeast (guess that's just a half baked version of a bar crawl, isn't it?).
Anyway, I sleep on the nine foot couch (or the love seat, with my feet up on the ottoman) in the living room, I do not even use the bedroom, it is completely empty. It has vertical blinds, new carpet, electric heater, cable outlet/power outlets so you can hook up computer/iPhone/tablet/whatever.
I am a quiet guy, you can simply close the bedroom door, which has a lock if you are very private, and you will not hear the tv, or the computer if I'm surfing YouTube, although you might hear the dishwasher running. But aside from hearing the shower before I leave, or the door opening when I return, you will likely not even know I am here. We will have a shared bathroom but I have a little space where I can keep everything I need, the medicine cabinet and wall cabinet will be yours. I keep the space very clean, and also once every month, every four weeks or so, two local college students clean the entire apartment as a way of earning extra money, so the place is clean and is kept clean.
I don't mind friends coming in, and don't mind the occasional party, but if you're an animal, please take your partying elsewhere. Nothing wrong with it but not what I want in a living situation. I keep a pretty clean house and would like it to remain that way.
I'm in my late twenties, so I want to find someone close to my age, gender is no concern, who is quiet and clean and has good history and can contribute $367 a month ON TIME (preferably by the first, no later than the fifth). I have not paid a pet deposit because I do not have pets, but you can feel free to do so. However I have to say No to cats, as I do not react well to them. Not an allergic reaction necessarily but a noticeable physical reaction.
