I am looking for a male caregiver to help a man every Saturday from 8:30 am -- 12:30 pm, on some days you will use your car to take him shopping or to take him and his wife out to lunch (she is also in wheelchair and at a different facility in Castle Rock)... you will be reimbursed for your gas.

And I need help this coming week as a fill in while the main week caregiver is out...
Monday -- Saturday. Mon, Wed, Fris are 5 hours 8:30 am -- 1:30 pm and Tues, Thurs, Sat are all 4 hours 8:30 am --12:30 pm. $16 an hour plus gas reimbursement when you are with the client.

The client is a male and in a wheelchair and can occasionally can walk to near places depending on his stability and strength that day. He has dementia and forgets things and then becomes angry when he is confused. He does live in an assisted living facility, The Inn at Greenwood Village, and the family just wants one on one care. He needs help with a shower, getting in and out, toileting, can still use the toilet just needs help getting on and off, and light cleaning: taking out the trash, run a vacuum, clean his bathroom, and the kitchen. There's no cooking involved. He can be demanding at times so you must be strong yourself!

He's pretty good about telling what he wants and if you are understanding, compassionate, dependable, can pass a background check, have a good/reliable car -- no truck, but something an older person can get in and out of with storage for a wheelchair or two.... then I would love to hear from you!
