Payment for this job is $300 Skills needed, plumbing to fix leak and possibly change valves, drywall repair, door hanging, painting.
TOTAL ALL INCLUSIVE. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS, OWNER WILL BUY SUPPLIES ONLY, NOT ANY TOOLS. YOU MUST TRANSPORT SUPPLIES FROM HOME DEPOT A MILE AWAY IN YOUR VEHICLE.
This description is a contract please read carefully. If you accept, the description defines the terms of the agreement. Contractor must have valid picture ID and their own their vehicle with current registration in their or their wife's name. A picture of both will be taken. The time limit for completion is 24 Hrs after the work begins. After 24 Hrs the contractor will be reduced $35 from total pay every 4 hours after 24 hrs.
Second Floor Apt in 5 unit Building needs the following repairs:
1. Need to take extension ladder upto 3 windows all on second floor, (we have a ladder on premise), and drill a screw hole into bottom of 3 awning windows and screw awning windows shut with probably one screw, but more if needed. A corded drill can be plugged in through the window but you will have to screw in the screw manually, or your cordless drill would be useful for drilling and screwing.
2. There are 2 - 32" Bedroom Doors. These need to be removed and replaced with new, cheap bedroom doors from Home Depot and Painted WHITE. Some wood fill may be needed in frame. The new knobs installed on the door will be combo locks that fit in a standard nob hole on the door. DOOR ONLY, NOT FRAME, WE WILL BUY NEW HINGES AND COMBO LOCK KNOBS DOORS AND PAINT
BRUSHES AND ROLLERS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY YOU CAN GET AT DOLLAR STORE.
3. PLUMBING: There is a leak coming from the bathroom around the shower valves or sink valves that leaks into the living room and also in the apartment below. The bathroom shares a wall with the living room. We need to open up the drywall in the living room to expose the bathroom pipes and fix the leak, worst case scenario you would need to replace the shower valves which of course we would supply. You need to stop leak and you need to patch up the hole you do and repaint.
4. THERE IS SOME PEELED PAINT IN CEILING OF THE SHOWER, A 1 FOOT IN DIAMETER AREA, IT NEEDS TO BE SCRAPED AND REPAINTED. SHOULD BE DONE WHEN BEDROOM DOORS AND DRYWALL ARE PAINTED.
5. THERE IS AN AC IN THE SECOND FLOOR OF A DIFFERENT APT THAT NEEDS ITS TILT ADJUSTED PRESENTLY IT LEAKS BACK INTO THE KITCHEN.
WORK NEEDS TO BEGIN IMMEDIATELY we have people who will occupy the APARTMENT ON THE 17th in the evening.
OWNER WILL ACCOMPANY YOU TO HOME DEPOT and YOU WILL PICK SUPPLIES TRANSPORT THEM AND OWNER WILL PAY FOR THEM. OWNER WILL NOT PURCHASE ANY TOOLS, PAINT BRUSHES OR.
