We are young computer repair folk, and we rented from Pollack last year and got into a rental agreement that was way over our head yet ruthlesssly so they did not show us any help. The space we learned after signing had less than half of the overhead area for signage than any unit in the plaza. The rent was very high, and we couldn't make it more than 5 months. We did our best and cleaned up the unit and complied in every way possible. These guys are terrible and must profit from this kind of turnaround, as they just sent us court paperwork that requires we respond by filing within 20 days over unpaid rent of $1700 and so on. It seems wildly aggressive. I bet we are one in hundreds of others that have been through this. It's not fair to go this alone. We would like to hire someone and honestly we feel that their practices are much less than professional and can elaborate on this. There is no reason good people like ourselves cannot take a stand against this guy Pollack. Someone ought to. We at least need to try and get a better deal for ourselves, after we lost our business we lost much more and have little to offer him. Of course we will make sure to pay our lawyers.
