Need networking PC tech for sporadic service calls (Tristate area)
Technician must have the following skills:
The ability to:
- Work with remote desktop software
- Repair/Reinstall PC Operating Systems
- Perform windows updates
- Install OS, drivers, security applications
- Restore Data
- Eliminate Malware/Spyware
- Troubleshoot and ensure Internet Connectivity
- Work with Cisco systems and components
- The ability to troubleshoot and terminate Cat-5, Cat-5e, Cat-6 cables
- Troubleshoot and repair LAN, WAN, WAP, etc networks and switches
- Work with and termination of fiber is a plus
- Replace PC hard drive, video card, RAM, etc
Tech should provide the following:
- Up to date laptop
- Console Cable (Cisco Friendly)
- Assorted testing cables
- Network switch , basic
- Basic tools
Tech should have:
- Reliable transportation
- Cell phone
- Be presentable and dress appropriately
- Be prepared for any job situation
Tech will need to sign a non-compete form, before being assigned service calls. Must be available for service calls with a 5 hour notice.
Tardiness is not accepted. If you are late more than once, you will not be called to work.
