Need someone who knows scanning software really well (Newton) hide this posting unhide

I've had an HP scanner for years. Unfortunately their software messed up my system to a point where NO OTHER SCANNING SOFTWARE will work. I won't even let me install the software to use from my new Canon Scanner.
I'm looking for someone who knows how to remove HP's legacy software files and then check the integrity of the fileset so the Canon software can be correctly installed. I've enclosed two screen shots which shows EXACTLY what is happening and I'm sure the HP software has caused this.
