The SAT used to have a guessing penalty of a quarter of a point per incorrect answer. This made the question of whether you should guess on the test much more complex. Guessing incorrectly on four questions would lead to a loss of a full point in your raw score whereas if you left them blank, you wouldn't have any points subtracted.

Dear parents, Most Tutors advertised for Math, English, Chemistry, Statistics,..., and everything. And most parents thinks to get this Tutor is a bargain-Chip .They not realized that for 2 hour session 1 hour -for Math and 1-hour for English. You be lucky if this tutor know one of those subjects, mostly time just reading answer solutions at a end of the book. This tutor just concentrating by gassing multiple chooses or mark some answer because time is expired (they have only 1.25 sec for each question)
