New, Used, Antique Building Supplies (Maine Building Materials Exchange)

The Maine Building Materials Exchange (BME) offers new, used, and salvaged building materials to the public at discounted prices. We have established relationships with well-known manufacturers and building supply vendors to provide high quality materials. Additional materials are donated by various individuals and small businesses.

We offer supplies from foundation to roofing and everything in between: Windows, doors, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures and hardware, electrical fixtures and hardware, heating and cooling, appliances, furniture, marble, granite, antique hardware and architectural salvage, garden and landscaping supplies, and more.

Stock of supplies at the BME is ALWAYS changing. Please call or stop in to find out if we have something you are looking for. We do not check email for Craigslist ads on a regular basis. We are conveniently located on Route 196, (Lisbon Rd.), 20 minutes between Topsham and Lewiston.

The mission of the Maine Housing and Building Materials Exchange (BME) is to: Benefit low-income homeowners and the environment by providing new and re-usable building materials at an affordable price, and by educating people about home repairs. BME is a private 501(c3) not for profit organization.

Anyone may donate materials to the Building Materials Exchange: individuals, contractors, lumberyards, manufacturers, corporations, etc.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call us.
