This small rotary vane pump is in excellent condition and is perfect for a broad range of applications including small-medium chamber evacuation to a medium vacuum (> 1E-3 Torr). The RV8 is also an ideal pump for backing a turbo-molecular pump.

Included with this pump is an ~8' power cable with prongs for a 110V outlet, and a conical mesh KF25 sized filter for the pump inlet. An oil mist filter is NOT included for this pump, but is highly recommended.

You can't beat this deal considering most refurbished/rebuilt rotary vane style pumps retail for >$2000, and new for >$3000.

The pump was dismantled and all parts were rigorously cleaned with 100% ethanol. The vanes in each stage and seals were inspected to ensure they were in excellent condition. The pump oil was also drained, flushed, and refilled.

Currently, the pump is set up for 110 volts (50 Hz); however this can easily changed to operate at 220 volts (60 Hz). Please see the images for other pump specifications.

If you are interested in the pump and would like to ensure it operates as described, you will need to provide a vacuum gauge (capable of the vacuum range in question) and the hardware to attach it to a KF25 style flange. If these are not available to you, I am happy to demonstrate that the pump runs beautifully and does in fact pull.
