I am a stay at home mom of 4, three of which go to a charter school, here in Wasilla. My youngest is at home with me. She is 1. I am offering before/after school care for grades K-5 grade. I am not licensed, nor can I accept childcare assistance. I am looking to supplement our income, while being at home with our youngest child. My husband is a government contractor on Fort Richardson. I am a prior childcare teacher, as well as Administrative Assistant. Our days are not structured, but we do have lots of opportunities to play and learn as we go about our day. We fill our days playing with toys, boardgames, age appropriate movies, as well as plenty of outside play, as our yard is completely fenced and is almost a full acre. We live right behind Wasilla High School and will take walks to Newcomb Park. I will help with homework, as well as life skills, such as cleaning up after ourselves. I will provide Breakfast, and an after school snack, unless your child has dietary restrictions, in which case you will need to provide alternate foods. I am open Monday through Thursday, from 6am-8pm,( to allow commuters to get here). I'm reserving Fridays, for doctor's appointments, and the like.
