Hey all. I just wanted to post a parvo cure that i found on Google. Many people stated this works and i have found out that the antibiotic the vets use on our sick pets are amoxicillin. So heres what you have to do. Goto any pharmacy and purchase a pill called charcoal tablets. Its for the stomach and protects the lining of the stomach (parvo destroys that this is why they cant eat,drink and become dehydrated. ) for mine i used two tablets twice per day and you must break open the tablet to get the charcoal powder from it. Next step. Pedialite! !make sure its the clear one . The others dont work and this can be found at Wal-Mart. Get them to drink this as much as possible but careful not to give them to much as to not make them sick. I gave this to mine every hour. Then next is the amoxicillin. However i used a antibiotic i got from the stores where you can buy them over the counter because if your like me , you cant get medical coverage. It was 500mg and i broke it in half and gave half one day then the other half the next. I know alot of people wont give their dogs medication without taking them to the vet to get them themselves but if your like me you dont have the money seeing as they charge you more than most people even make per week to save your dog. This worked for me . Im not saying it will work for you but like i said many people swore by it,i did it and it did work for mine. It all depends on how persistent you are and how determined you are to save your baby when you have no way to take it to a vet. Trying something is better than doing nothing and by thinking that,thats what encourages everyone to do this. Best of luck to you and i hope your baby gets through this successfully. And just for the record luckily my vet has always been honest but he even said that hes seen people do this before and he encouraged those who couldn't afford for him to treat their animals to do exactly this. And trust me it will save tons of money although if this doesn't seem to be working i'd go ahead and take your baby to the vet . If your wondering what to feed your pet please only feed him or her plain white rice . Do not give your pet regular pet food as its too harsh on their stomach at ths time.
