Percy is around 2 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He wandered into a yard that he had been scoping out for a month .... making sure the animals there were treated well. He was skin and bones..and wary of people. After eating well and beginning to trust people Percy became a favorite friend for visiting handicapped nephews. When the family decided they could not keep Percy, the boys wanted so much to take him home..but they live in the middle of down town and can't have a dog. Percy, who had never been in a home, has become quite the homebody at his foster's home...loving laps and a warm crate. He is a gentle soul and is housebroken. Percy is neutered, heart worm negative, and up to date on vaccines. He is getting better and better on the leash and is quite smart. Gets along well with other dogs. Percy would be so good for a family who are looking for their first dog....even with small.
